Itching for some seafood in our landlocked state? You can go for a Cajun seafood boil at the new Boil Daddy location in Boulder.
The latest: The California-based franchise opened a spot at 1622 Broadway this summer, just the second Colorado outpost, with the other in Colorado Springs.
Dig in: The location has seafood baskets, but the signature dish is, of course, their seafood boils. Because while we're all for presentation and plating, sometimes you just want to dump your food in a tray and have at it.
What to expect: Choose from a variety of seafood options, add seasoning and spice of your choice and sides like rice and veggies.
- The restaurant will give you bibs, gloves and crab leg crackers. Plus, napkins ... lots of napkins.
- Best bites: The shrimp and sausage give you the best bang for your buck.
- If you're not as hungry or by yourself, Boil Daddy also offers a variety of seafood baskets that come with fries.
If you go: The restaurant is open seven days a week from 11am-10pm.
