Boulder's famous "Glass House" is on the market for the discerning homebuyer who wants to get closer to the Flatirons. Quite literally.
State of play: The property designed by architect Matt McMullen at 333 Bellevue Dr. has been listed at $9.95 million by Slifer Smith & Frampton real estate.
- The listing actually includes two homes, the primary five-bedroom residence and a one-bedroom accessory dwelling unit at 375 Bellevue Dr.
Inside the room: The primary home is built into the side of the Flatiron slope and features a koi pond beside the kitchen, multiple fireplaces on the main level and its signature cantilevered Pilkington structural glass walls with panoramic views.
Fun fact: Another cool feature, at least for Boulderites: A piece of the actual Flatirons was craned into the home when it was first built in 2004 and now serves as a water feature in the middle of the house, broker Joel Ripmaster told us.
