Shedeur Sanders gets surprise start in Browns preseason opener

• The next day, the Browns added yet another quarterback to their already crowded room, signing veteran Tyler Huntley.

🐾 Jimmy Horn Jr.: Friday will be a bit of a Buffs reunion, as Horn's Carolina Panthers face off against Sanders' Cleveland team.

• The sixth-round receiver has reportedly been strong in camp and should get the opportunity to clinch his roster spot in preseason.

🐦‍⬛ LaJohntay Wester: Another sixth-round pick at receiver, Wester will take the field Thursday with the Baltimore Ravens.

• His best path to making the team this year is probably as a punt returner.

🐆 Travis Hunter: Unlike some of his former teammates, Hunter isn't worried about making the team, but preseason could be his chance to experiment with playing both sides of the ball.

• Hunter was listed as a starting wide receiver and a second-string cornerback on the Jaguars' latest depth chart.
• The team hasn't yet divulged how much Hunter we might see on the field in the first preseason game Saturday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
