By using any Axios Pro service (“Axios Pro” or the “Axios Pro Services”) you agree to these Axios Pro Terms (“Terms”). This is a binding legal contract between you and Axios Media Inc. (“AXIOS Media”, “we” or “us”), and you should read it carefully before using Axios Pro. To use Axios Pro, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside. Axios Pro is controlled and operated by Axios Media from within the United States of America and is intended only for subscribers and readers located in the United States of America
Axios Pro offers multiple newsletters, including Fintech, HealthTech, Retail, Media and Entertainment, and Climate Tech (each a “Vertical”). We also offer Axios Pro All Access, which includes all Verticals, plus any new Verticals introduced during your subscription period. Except for All Access, we do not have a way to bundle Verticals at this time. This means that if you want to subscribe to more than one Vertical, you will need to complete a new subscription process for each Vertical, and each Vertical will be treated as its own subscription in accordance with the terms below (i.e., it will be separately billed and have its own subscription period). Axios Pro is intended for individual, personal use only. This means only one individual may access the Axios Pro Services under a single email address login and password. You are not allowed to subscribe to Axios Pro using a shared email account/list-serve email (e.g., [email protected]), and you are prohibited from sharing your Axios Pro login information with others.
Axios Pro content (e.g., the newsletters and newsletter archives) is intended for Axios Pro Subscribers only. You are prohibited from forwarding Axios Pro newsletters to non-subscribers (whether manually or through auto-forwarding), posting Axios Pro content to any public website or private intranet, or otherwise publishing, sharing or distributing the Axios Pro content except as expressly permitted by AXIOS Media. If you violate these forwarding and sharing policies, or any other applicable policies or laws, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your subscription, and you will not receive any refund. We also reserve the right to take other legal action against you that might be available to us under law or equity.
Axios Pro is offered as an annual subscription. Your Axios Pro subscription will begin on the date your credit card is charged and continue for one year. Thereafter, your subscription will automatically renew each year on the same date until it is canceled in accordance with Section 6 (Cancellations) below. If you do not cancel your subscription before the renewal date, your subscription will renew for another year, and you will be charged in accordance with Section 7 titled (Fees) below.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by visiting help.axios.com and submitting a request to the Axios Pro support team. Your cancellation will become effective at the end of the current one-year subscription period. You will continue to have access to Axios Pro until the cancellation takes effect. Except as otherwise provided herein, we do not provide refunds for cancellations. If we choose, in our sole discretion, to issue a refund or credit in one instance, we are under no obligation to issue the same refund or credit in the future.
The price for the first year of your Axios Pro subscription will be made clear during the order process. You agree to pay the price that is stated at the time of your order, as well as any applicable taxes (“Fees”). If your initial subscription was purchased under special promotional pricing, it will renew at the then-current standard price, plus applicable taxes. We reserve the right to raise our standard prices at each renewal term, but we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of such price increases before they take effect. Such notice may be made electronically by email or via the Services. If you do not agree to the price increase, you can cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal date by visiting help.axios.com and submitting a request to the Axios Pro support team.
By subscribing and providing your credit card or debit card information (“Payment Method”), you authorize us to charge your Payment Method for the Fees, and you agree to accept an electronic record of a receipt. We only accept payments from US banks. By providing any Payment Method, you agree that certain credit card, debit card and billing information may be shared with our payment processors and other necessary service providers. Our current payment processor is Stripe, but we reserve the right to change our payment processor at any time without notice to you. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process your purchase promptly, but there may be a delay in the activation of your subscription while payment details are verified. While transactions are completed without difficulty in most cases, there is no such thing as perfect security on the Internet. The Site cannot and does not take responsibility for the success or security of transactions processed by third-party payment processors. If you have concerns about the security of your payment processing, please visit help.axios.com and submit a request to the Axios Pro support team. If we cannot charge your Payment Method for any reason, we reserve all rights permissible under law to recover payment, and you will be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred, including reasonable attorneys' fees, in our pursuit of payment. You explicitly agree that all communication relating to amounts due and unpaid will be made by electronic mail or by phone. Such communication may be made by AXIOS Media or by anyone on our behalf, including but not limited to a third-party collection agent. If your Payment Method is declined for a recurring payment of your subscription fee, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you via email. If you do not update your Payment Method within fourteen (14) days, your subscription may be canceled (but you will still be responsible for payment). We reserve the right to refuse or reject any order at any time at our discretion.
If we elect (in our discretion) to offer you a free trial subscription to Axios Pro, you will be required to provide your Payment Method at the time you sign up for the trial. At the end of the trial period, your trial subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription, and your Payment Method will be charged the Fees specified during the trial sign-up process. We will use our best efforts to notify you by email when your trial period is coming to an end. To avoid being charged, you must cancel your trial subscription before the end of the trial period. You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period by visiting help.axios.com and submitting a request to the Axios Pro support team. You can also visit help.axios.com during the trial period to request an upgrade of your subscription to All Access or a downgrade of your All Access subscription to one or more Verticals. If you do, your Payment Method will be charged at the end of the free trial period for the Fees applicable to the subscription(s) you ultimately chose.
We may occasionally (in our sole discretion) offer promotional pricing and/or discount codes (“Promotions”). The specific terms of each Promotion will be stated at the time the Promotion is offered. Each Promotion may be different. Promotions cannot be combined. We reserve the right to change or cancel any Promotion at any time. If your initial subscription was purchased under special promotional pricing or discount code, it will renew at the then-current standard price.
After the free trial period ends, you can still request to upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time by visiting help.axios.com and submitting a request to the Axios Pro support team. If you request a downgrade from All Access to one or more Verticals, the downgrade will take effect at the end of your current All Access subscription period. If you request an upgrade to All Access, we will (1) cancel your original subscription(s) and issue a prorated refund to your Payment Method, and (2) charge your Payment Method the Fees for an All Access subscription, prorated for the remainder of your subscription period. Your subscription period and renewal date will remain the same. When your subscription renews, it will automatically renew at the All Access level at the then-current price.
If you are accessing Axios Pro through an arrangement with your employer, university, or another organization that has directly contracted with AXIOS Media to make Axios Pro available to you (an “Enterprise Partner” or “Corporate Subscriber”), the following terms and conditions do not apply to you: Section 5 (Subscription Period & Automatic Renewal), Section 6 (Cancellation), Section 7 (Fees), Section 8 (Billing Policies), Section 9 (Free Trials), Section 10 (Promotional Pricing), and Section 11 (Upgrades and Downgrades). The rest of the Terms apply to you individually as they would to any other Axios Pro Subscriber, and you are personally responsible and liable for complying with the Terms. If your Axios Pro access is provided through an Enterprise Partner or Corporate Subscriber, you will still be required to subscribe to Axios Pro through our standard subscription process. When subscribing, you must (1) use your email address associated with the Enterprise Partner/Corporate Subscriber domain (e.g. [email protected]), and (2) enter the unique Enterprise Partner/Corporate Subscriber access code into the promo code box rather than providing a Payment Method. The term of your Axios Pro subscription will begin when you complete the subscription process and will continue for so long as the Enterprise Partner/Corporate Subscriber’s agreement with AXIOS Media remains in effect. If you no longer wish to receive Axios Pro newsletters during the term of your subscription, visit help.axios.com and submit a request to the Axios Pro support team.
We reserve the right to modify the type and availability of any content in the Axios Pro Service at any time, but we will not materially reduce the number of newsletters associated with your subscription during any given subscription year. If we do, your sole and exclusive remedy is to visit help.axios.com and submit a request to the Axios Pro support team within 30 days of such change to request a refund. Your request must include the reason for your refund request. This is the only refund we offer.
Axios Pro may include certain content supplied by third parties (“Third-Party Content”), including but not limited to content provided by our advertising sponsors. AXIOS Media does not have control over the quality, accuracy, completeness, veracity or legality of Third-Party Content. You understand and agree that AXIOS Media has no responsibility and assumes no liability for any Third-Party Content within Axios Pro or for the actions of any provider thereof. If you are concerned about the legitimacy, legality or safety of any Third-Party Content you see in Axios Pro, you should visit help.axios.com and submit a request to the Axios Pro support team. Please note that we are not required to remove any Third-Party Content even if notified of a potential concern, and that any failure or refusal to remove such Third-Party Content will not create any duty of care or any liability on the part of AXIOS Media. You are solely responsible for your interactions with the Third-Party Content providers whom you may encounter by using Axios Pro.

AXIOS Media makes no representations that Axios Pro or the content and materials available via Axios Pro are appropriate or available for use in locations outside of the United States or will comply with international laws, rules and regulations.
AXIOS PRO IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY THAT: (I) ANY CONTENT PROVIDED ON OR THROUGH AXIOS PRO IS ACCURATE, LEGALLY COMPLIANT, UP-TO-DATE, RELIABLE, OR CORRECT; (II) AXIOS PRO WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; (III) AXIOS PRO WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION, OR WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE; (IV) ANY DEFECTS OR ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED; OR (V) THE AXIOS PRO SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT, ENDORSE, GUARANTEE, OR ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE ADVERTISED OR OFFERED BY ANY THIRD PARTY THROUGH AXIOS PRO (WHETHER ON THE WEBSITE OR IN A NEWSLETTER), OR FOR THE CONTENT OF ANY HYPERLINKED WEBSITE ACCESSIBLE VIA AXIOS PRO. ALL OF THE DISCLAIMERS IN THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL AXIOS MEDIA INC. OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, LICENSORS AND PARTNERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, BOARD MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY IN CONNECTION WITH THE AXIOS PRO SERVICE, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LAW (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE), FOR: (I) ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OR LOSSES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, LOST DATA, OR COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, IN EACH CASE WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES; AND (II) AGGREGATE DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNTS ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO AXIOS MEDIA INC. IN FEES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENTS GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
We reserve the right to update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site. Your continued use of Axios Pro thereafter will be deemed as your consent to such updated Terms. You are responsible for checking this page from time to time for updates, although we may use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you regarding any updates to the Terms by email or a notice posted on the Site.
