The count is now 265 victims who have come forward against Larry Nassar, according to the Associated Press' Josh Lederman

Why it matters: That's a much bigger number than the already massive 160+ women who came forward.

  • The latest in the Nassar case: Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered a criminal investigation of the gymnastics training facility in Texas, the Karolyi Ranch, per the AP. Several of Nassar's victims said he abused them at the ranch.
  • Abbott said: "Those athletes, as well as all Texans, deserve to know that no stone is left unturned to ensure that the allegations are thoroughly vetted and the perpetrators and enablers of any such misconduct are brought to justice. The people of Texas demand, and the victims deserve, nothing less."

Grocery delivery company Instacart has raised $100 million in new funding, on top of the $225 million it announced last month, the company tells Axios. This brings its valuation to $13.8 billion.

Why it matters: This funding comes at what could be an inflection point for Instacart, as customers it acquired during coronavirus lockdowns decide whether they want to continue with the service or resume in-person grocery shopping.
