As of Friday morning, the Justice Department had not yet invited key Democratic state attorneys general to its upcoming meeting this month on concerns of major tech companies, the Washington Post reports.
The big picture: Attorneys general from California, New York, Washington and Connecticut haven't been invited yet — three states in which tech companies have a significant presence. The matter is further fueling criticism that the Justice Department’s focus is "a politically charged attack on the tech industry," per the Post.
