Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, both advisers to President Trump, made an appearance at Senator John McCain's memorial service at the National Cathedral on Saturday. Ivanka made her way to Sen. Lindsey Graham, a close friend of McCain's, and gave him a hug.
Why it matters: President Trump did not have a good relationship with McCain. But a slew of other administration officials are paying their respects today. Ivanka and Jared were two of several notables at the service, including Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, and several ambassadors.
