Humana and its private-equity partners are buying the hospice operator Curo Health Services for $1.4 billion.
Why it matters: Humana is diving further into delivering health services, instead of just selling health insurance, and all of its provider businesses mostly cater to seniors. Humana is going all-in on the baby boomer population, which is a major reason why it's an attractive target for Walmart.
