The latest vote totals in Florida’s hotly contested gubernatorial race between Democrat Andrew Gillum and Republican Ron DeSantis show that it will likely head to a recount. Under state law, a recount is required when the winning margin is 0.5 percent or less.
The details: DeSantis’ lead has narrowed to a margin of 0.47% as additional ballots were being counted, according to the most recent unofficial election results Thursday at 3 p.m. Gillum's campaign said this morning that they're prepared for a possible recount after he conceded to DeSantis on Tuesday night.
