Lantern Capital Partners, which is in the process of acquiring Weinstein Co. for $289 million, announced that it has reached an agreement to pay unsecured creditors who are seeking residuals, like actors including Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper who say they are each owed $940,706 for "Silver Linings Playbook" and Meryl Streep who has said she is owed $168,611 for "August: Osage County," the Associated Press reports.
What's next: A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in Delaware when a judge will need to approve the deal. Harvey Weinstein is due in court this Monday to be heard on sex crime charges.
