Jury convicts Mexican drug kingpin "El Chapo"

After six days of deliberations, jurors ruled to convict Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, in a decision that could send the Mexican drug trafficking kingpin to a high-security prison for the rest of his life, according to the Associated Press.

Quick take: The notorious cartel leader was found guilty on all 10 counts he faced, including engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise, conspiracy to launder narcotics proceeds, international distribution of cocaine, heroin, marijuana and other drugs, and the use of firearms.
