Cigna and Express Scripts said Monday that antitrust officials at the Department of Justice have officially cleared their $67 billion merger.
Why it matters: Pending final state approvals, which seem likely at this point, Cigna is on the brink of becoming a behemoth encompassing health insurance and pharmacy benefits management, although the companies have not explained how consumers would save money.
