CBS said Monday it will seek outside counsel to investigate the sexual misconduct allegations against executive and chairman Les Moonves, which were detailed in a New Yorker piece last Friday.
The backdrop: The article includes allegations by six women who say Moonves harassed them between the '80s and '00s. The company made no decision about his role at CBS. The company also announced it will postpone its annual shareholder meeting on Aug. 10, CNBC reports.
