Jonathan Bush, the CEO of Athenahealth and a cousin of George W. and Jeb Bush, issued an apology over the weekend after The Daily Mail published a story that said Bush verbally and physically assaulted his first wife.
The big picture: The allegations, admission and apology all come as the health IT company, which Bush co-founded, faces a hostile takeover from hedge fund Elliott Management.
