Venezuelan hostage returning to U.S.

President Trump praised the release of Joshua Holt, an American who was being held by the Venezuelan government, on Twitter Saturday morning. The announcement follows a video released last week in which Holt pleaded for help from the U.S.

The background, per CBS News: "The 26-year-old traveled to Venezuela in 2016 to marry a fellow Mormon he met on the internet. Shortly afterward, the couple was arrested at her family's apartment in a Caracas public housing project after police said they found him stockpiling an assault weapon and grenades."
