Black men settle with Philadelphia over Starbucks arrests

Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson have settled with Philadelphia officials for $1 each and a pledge to create a $200,000 young entrepreneur program, reports the AP.

The backdrop: The two men were arrested on April 12 by Philadelphia police after being given the ultimatum of making a purchase or leaving by a Starbucks manager. They were waiting for a business partner to arrive. Starbucks officials publicly apologized and the store is closing on May 29 for racial sensitivity training.
