Cyberattack website removed by Britain’s National Crime Agency

Webstresser.org, a website blamed for millions of cyber attacks around the globe, has been taken down after an international investigation by the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency, reports BBC.

The big picture: Axios' Joe Uchill says it's a DDOS for hire service pretending to be a security service. Essentially, you pay them to send so much traffic to a website that it collapses — whether it's your site or not.
