Kleiner Perkins investor heads to Google's Gradient Ventures

Muzzammil Zaveri (known as "MZ") has joined Gradient Ventures, Google's new A.I.-focused venture capital program, Axios has learned. He comes from Kleiner Perkins where he was an investor for the past three years.

Why it matters: Kleiner Perkins has seen a number of partner and investment staff changes recently. At Gradient, Zaveri will be joining Shabhi Rizvi, a former colleague at Kleiner Perkins.
