Snap shares opened trading Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange at $24 per share, which is a 41% premium to the $17 per share IPO price. In early trading the stock is climbing even higher. Had Snap actually priced its IPO at $24 per share, it would have raised an extra $973 million (although it's unlikely it could have sold all the available shares at such a mark to IPO buyers).
