Report: White House believes Kelly's phone was compromised

The White House believes Chief of Staff John Kelly's personal phone was compromised by unknown actors as long ago as December, Politico reports.

Why it matters: Kelly didn't use the phone frequently in recent months, relying on a government-issued phone, an official told Politico. Still, this presents the possibility that information on the phone could have been accessed by a foreign country or group.
