The White House confirmed Thursday that President Trump will meet with Vladimir Putin next week on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster said of the meeting, "our relationship with Russia is not different from our relationship with any other country," so Trump will meet with Putin as he would with any other world leader.
- Economic advisor Gary Cohn on whether Trump will raise election meddling: "We don't have an agenda set up right now."
- McMaster said Trump would "confront Russia's destabilizing behavior" during the summit.
- This will be Trump's first meeting with Putin since taking office.
