Who specifically in the media does Trump tweet about? We ran the numbers since election day and found Trump hates on the New York Times most of all... with CNN coming in a close second. (His Fox tweets are pretty pleasant by comparison.)

Trump takes to Twitter on impeachment day

President Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday, firing off dozens of tweets and retweets by 1pm ET as the House simultaneously moved to take up the articles of impeachment against him.

"SUCH ATROCIOUS LIES BY THE RADICAL LEFT, DO NOTHING DEMOCRATS. THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON AMERICA, AND AN ASSAULT ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!!"

Why Twitter won't flag Trump's tweets on Iran

President Trump's use of Twitter to threaten Iran brought renewed calls for CEO Jack Dorsey to take action to limit the president's use of the platform. However, Twitter maintains none of the president's messages violate the company's policies.

The bigger picture: Twitter has said that, in general, it will leave political leaders' tweets up even if they violate the terms of service that apply to other users. Last year it announced a policy that would see the company append a warning to tweets deemed to violate its rules. But, it has yet to apply that policy to Trump or anyone else.

Trump retweets supporter, naming purported Ukraine whistleblower

President Trump has retweeted the name of the alleged Ukraine whistleblower on his Twitter feed.

Why it matters: It and a retweet of a Washington Examiner post that also named the purported whistleblower marked the first time Trump has actively promoted the name, despite the fact that some of his allies, including son Donald Trump Jr. have repeatedly done so online.
