Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, told MSNBC there is "more than circumstantial evidence" that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the election.
That's a change from earlier this week, when Schiff said there was only circumstantial evidence. The White House denies that any such evidence exists, and FBI Director James Comey would say only that the matter was being investigated.
The context: Schiff slammed Intel Committee chairman Devin Nunes earlier today for bypassing the committee to announce he had learned of apparent surveillance of the Trump team by the Obama administration. Now he's pushing the envelope himself on the alleged Trump-Russia links.
