Nancy Dubuc has left her post as CEO of A&E Networks and will become chief executive of Vice Media, replacing the company's co-founder Shane Smith. Smith will move to executive chairman, where he will focus on "strategic deals and content development."

Why it matters: Vice Media, currently valued at around $5.7 billion, found itself embroiled in controversy after more than 24 women came forward with stories of sexual harassment, resulting in the dismissal of several top executives. Per Variety, Dubuc is "one of the most prominent executives in the cable TV arena, and one of media’s few female CEOs."

McMaster out, Bolton in as National Security Adviser

H.R. McMaster plans to resign and will be replaced as national security adviser by former U.N. ambassador John Bolton. The White House said McMaster's departure had been under discussion for some time and that the process was sped up to end speculation about the role. McMaster will stay on until mid-April.

Bottom line: This isn’t about ideology — unlike Trump, Bolton is hawkish and interventionist on foreign policy. This is about personal chemistry.

Former Playboy model Karen McDougal detailed her relationship with President Trump — which he has denied — in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper on Thursday night, including the first time she met Melania and how he tried to pay her after the first time they had sex.

The details: The alleged affair took place while he was married to Melania and shortly after his youngest son was born. McDougal said they met while the Apprentice was filming at the Playboy mansion, and began seeing each other "quite frequently." She told Cooper that Trump told her he loved her "all the time," and that there "was a real relationship there."
