Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul tweeted Monday that he plans to meet with President Trump to ask him to revoke former CIA director John Brennan's security clearance:
"Is John Brennan monetizing his security clearance? Is John Brennan making millions of dollars divulging secrets to the mainstream media with his attacks on @realDonaldTrump ? ... Today I will meet with the President and I will ask him to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance!"
Why it matters: Brennan accused Trump of treason last week. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said on Sunday his committee will seek testimony from Brennan and he has "lots of questions" for Brennan, while Paul has yet to provide evidence for his claims about Brennan.
