Airbus and partner OneWeb are building "a satellite mega-constellation," per the BBC, in hopes of delivering "broadband links from orbit to every corner of the globe" and, more specifically, providing connection to every school.
The first 10 satellites will be launched by next April, followed by another launch in November. An assembly line has opened in Toulouse, France, and two more lines will be opened in Florida.
One big concern is debris. "The fear is that space could eventually become unusable," the BBC reports.
