So, Pokémon Go isn't dead after all. The release of new characters last week made the game the no. 1 moneymaker in the App Store. It had dropped out of the top ten following a meteoric rise upon its release last July.
Analyst firm Mobile Action estimates that the iPhone version of Pokémon Go has already generated $23 million in February, surpassing the $22 million for all of January.
The big question: Will the release win back those who had dropped the game, or just provide a blip of spending among those that remain Pokémon die-hards.
