Hurricane Nate weakened to a tropical storm Sunday after making two landfalls on the U.S. mainland overnight, first at the mouth of the Mississippi River in Louisiana and a second time in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Nate's path: Per the National Hurricane Center, Nate is expected to continue weakening rapidly as it moves over the South and up into the Appalachian Mountain region. The storm currently has maximum sustained winds of 70 mph.
