The man charged with several hate crimes for his involvement in last year's Charlottesville white supremacist rally, and allegedly drove the car that hit and killed Heather Heyer, pleaded not guilty on Thursday, ABC News reports.
The details: James Alex Fields Jr. said he is "being treated for bipolar disorder anxiety, depression and ADHD, and is taking medication," per ABC, but also said that his medication doesn't "impair his ability to understand the charges" being brought against him.
