First Lady Melania Trump donated her inaugural ball gown to the First Ladies Collection at the National Museum of American History on Friday morning. Trump said designer Herve Pierre was only given two weeks notice to design the floor-length, couture gown because of how busy she was with the changes after November's election.
"It is now my hope that this piece is one of the many great beginnings to our family's history here in Washington, D.C," Trump said. "The president, Barron, and I love living here, and we are so honored to represent this country."
