Make consumers confident again

Consumer confidence has surged among the poor and middle class since the election, Deutsche Bank Securities says, and the U.S. consumer is now accounting for a larger share of global GDP than at any point since the financial crisis.

Why this matters: It's a big deal to have the main engine of the performing well to offset a slowdown in China and stagnation in Europe
