Marillyn Hewson, CEO of Lockheed Martin, told Trump that the aerospace company is close to a deal that will bring the cost of F-35 aircrafts down significantly, according to reporters at Trump Tower.
Hewson said she had "a great meeting" with the President-elect on Friday, and that they share the same views on driving down the cost of the fighter plane program. She also said the company is planning to add 1,800 jobs to its base at Fort Worth, and thousands more across the nation.
