Charted: Minnesota's chattiest lawmaker

Minnesota State Sen. Chris Eaton (DFL-Brooklyn Center) is one of the nation's chattiest state legislators — on Twitter, at least.

Driving the news: Data collected by Quorum shows that Eaton tweeted 9,000 times between Jan. 1 and Aug. 25, ranking her No. 6 in the country.

What she's saying: Eaton, who is retiring next year, told Torey that her many interests — a list that includes addressing the opioid epidemic, preserving the grey wolf population and protecting abortion rights — fuel her tweets.

• She also shared a factor relatable for many of us: "I get easily bored in meetings and check social media frequently," she texted.
