Get your winter gardens in

If you've been thinking about getting a "winter" garden going, now's the time.

  • A slew of plants do well in central Florida's mild winter, when average highs are in the low 70s. Here's a handy guide from Florida Gardening.

🌾 What Ben planted: Garden beans, cantaloupe, watermelon, corn, okra, squash, cucumbers, carrots, kale and lettuce. All have sprouted after a week in the ground.
