Here's what's happening around the Alamo City this weekend.

Gather inspiration at the San Antonio Home & Garden Show at the Alamodome, beginning noon Friday and running through Sunday.

Giddy up for the final weekend of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

Enjoy live music on the patio at Devils River Distillery downtown, 8-11pm Friday.

Attend a free salsa and bachata dance class at the Tobin Center, 9-10am Saturday.

Head to the San Antonio African American Book Festival to hear from authors, noon-5pm Saturday at Second Baptist Community Center.

  • There will be food and children's activities.

Learn how to cultivate mushrooms and healthy soil with a workshop from the Central Texas Mycological Society at Tandem Coffee, 2-4pm Saturday.

Play detective at a comedy murder mystery dinner show at the haunted Gunter Hotel downtown, 6-9pm Saturday.
