Light the menorah and have some latkes around the Valley for Hanukkah

Hanukkah starts Thursday night.

If you're looking to go out and celebrate the Festival of Lights, there are plenty of places around the Valley where you can light the menorah, spin some dreidels and feast on latkes.

Capitol Menorah Lighting

When and where: Thursday at 4pm | 17th Avenue, across from the state Capitol

Details: Chabad continues a 40-year tradition of lighting the menorah at the Capitol.

Cost: Free

Hanukkah at Crescent Ballroom

When and where: Thursday at 5pm | Crescent Ballroom

Details: Light the menorah, enjoy Hanukkah delicacies like latkes, sufganiyot and brisket tacos, and wash it down with Brooklyn Lager. Stick around for Jewish trivia starting at 7pm.

Mesa Menorah Lighting

When and where: Thursday from 4-8pm | The Post

Details: Light the first candle, bring the kids for Hanukkah crafts and activities, and enjoy refreshments.

Cost: Free

Tempe Menorah Lighting

When and where: Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm | Ragsdale-MLK Park

Details: Downtown Tempe and ASU Chabad host the second annual menorah lighting at Ragsdale-MLK Park.

Cost: Free

Hanukkah at Chompies

When and where: Thursday from 5-7pm | Chompies on Shea Boulevard

Details: Hanukkah meet-up, with classic holiday food and reserved tables, joined by Jewish Singles.

Cost: Free

Hanukkah at the Farm!

When and where: Friday 6:30-8:30pm | Hunkapi Farms

Details: Light the menorah, eat up and bring a gift for the white elephant exchange.

Cost: Free

Moon Valley Chanukah Festival

When and where: Sunday 3-5pm | Moon Valley Park

Details: The first-ever Chanukah festival at Moon Valley Park will feature live music, food, kids' activities, and arts and crafts.

Cost: Free

Grand Menorah Lighting

When and where: Sunday 4:30pm | Avenue of the Fountains

Details: Chabad of Fountain Hills will light a 12-foot menorah, followed by a community celebration with live music, holiday delicacies, children's crafts and more.

Cost: Free

Chandler Menorah Lighting

When and where: Tuesday at 5pm | Dr. AJ Chandler Park

Details: Menorah lighting, followed by a magic show, music and more.

Cost: Free
