When and where: Saturday at 7pm | Central and Montebello avenues
Details: Arizona Public Service's annual holiday tradition is back, and this year's theme is "all about neon." The parade will head south on Central, then east on Camelback Road to Seventh Street, where it heads south again to its terminus at Indian School Road.
Of note: Be aware of road closures on Central, Camelback and Seventh Street from 5 to 11pm.
When and where: Saturday 11am-6pm, and Sunday 11am-5:30pm | Heritage Square Phoenix
Details: The event celebrates the culture of Chihuahua, so enjoy Mexican food, learn about Chihuahuan culture, listen to some music and sample tequila, mezcal and sotol.
When and where: Saturday 11am-8pm and Sunday 11am-4pm | Mesa Convention Center
Details: The holidays meet horror with eerie vendors, a live-action Krampus, spooky photo ops, an ugly sweater competition and more.
Price: $25 for one day, $30 for both
When and where: Saturday 10am | AVA Amphitheater at Casino Del Sol
Details: Head down to the Old Pueblo for the annual tamale contest, along with live entertainment, vendors and more. Bring your tamales by 11am to enter the contest, which starts at noon.
