Southwest Airlines weekend debacle draws on in Philly
Southwest Airlines canceled more than 350 flights nationwide Monday, and delayed another 600. That's after an additional 1,000 flights were canceled over the weekend.
- At Philadelphia's airport, four flights were canceled, and four were delayed Monday. On Sunday, eight were canceled.
The intrigue: The cancelations began after the airline's pilots asked a court to block the company's new vaccine mandate.
What they're saying: The Southwest Pilot Association has denied any kind of protest.
- Southwest blamed disruptive weather and air traffic control issues, despite no other airlines being affected as much, Axios' Michael Mooney and Ben Montgomery report.
