Enplanements at Northwest Arkansas National Airport were up about 11% during the first part of this year compared to last year, according to data from the airport.

Why it matters: The trend is in line with the expected growth at the airport and puts it on track to possibly be its busiest year yet.

By the numbers: The airport had 317,137 enplanements — or tickets to fly out of XNA — from January to April, compared to 284,909 during the first four months of 2023.

  • XNA saw 89,524 enplanements in April, up about 14.5% from 78,155 in April 2023.
