Seeing northern lights in NWA is about as likely as spotting Harrison Ford in downtown Springdale on May 4 — oh, wait!

  • OK, so maybe not that big of a leap.

The big picture: The most powerful solar storm in more than 20 years struck Earth on Friday, triggering breathtaking celestial shows of the northern lights, also known as aurora borealis, around the globe, Axios' Kelly Tyko writes.
