The Northwest Arkansas National Airport will receive a $13 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration as part of the bipartisan infrastructure law, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced.

Details: The money will be used to expand the terminal, add an upper-level walkway bridge, replace and add escalators and update the baggage system, according to the department.

Context: XNA has several projects on its list, including a new skybridge that will connect the parking deck to the second floor of the terminal, and it recently purchased about 120 acres for future expansion.
