New Orleanians have thoughts about when to put up their Christmas tree

The Christmas wreaths are up on Canal Street, and the red bows are hanging on Jackson Square, but you won't be swayed to decorate this early.

What's happening: More than half (56%) of Axios New Orleans readers who responded to our poll are waiting until after Thanksgiving to put up their Christmas tree.

  • Another 30% say they wait until early December.

Of note: Props go to the 1% of you who leave your tree up all year. Please spam us with pictures of your Mardi Gras tree, St. Paddy's tree, Fourth of July tree, etc.
