Your guide to the Indy Film Fest

The Indy Film Fest is back.

What's happening: The annual event focused on creating a shared experience around films takes place in-person and online Wednesday through May 5.

  • The 2024 event will feature more than 90 independent features, shorts, documentaries and world cinema films across genres.
  • In-person screenings will take place at Kan-Kan Cinema, 1258 Windsor St., and Living Room Theaters, 745 E. 9th St. Suite 810. There will also be special events at Mayfair Taproom and the Circle City Industrial Complex.

What to expect: The opening night film will be "Last Days of Summer," the world premiere of Indianapolis filmmaker Alex Rodgers, which was shot in local spots like Woodruff Place and The Historic Artcraft Theater in Franklin.
