👋 Hey, Everett here. I'm not normally patient enough to wait 30 minutes for a drink at a restaurant, but Coriander Kitchen & Farm is not a normal restaurant.

What's happening: The converted boat marina matches the calm, slow-moving water it floats on in Jefferson Chalmers. The chairs don't match, dozens of fish ornaments hang from the ceiling and herbs bloom from every available corner and container.

What I ate: The falafel wrap, which surrounds crispy, house-made falafel with some of the tastiest cucumbers, onions and carrots I've ever eaten.

Coriander grows its own veggies in the McDougall-Hunt neighborhood, and the food really tastes like it was grown around the corner and not around the world.

And yes, the slow-arriving "This Cocktail Helps Bees" made with bourbon and local honey was also delicious.

If you go: Open every day except Tuesday. Lunch, dinner and bar hours vary.

Calm down at Coriander

👋 Everett here. I tried making our latest photo contest more difficult, but two dozen of you still correctly guessed I was outside the Godfrey Hotel in Corktown last week.

Driving the news: The hotel's newest mural, "Corktown Tribute," was painted by local artist Trae Isaac through Detroit's City Walls program.

The mural is Isaac's largest and highest in the air to date, he tells Axios. It took about three weeks while perched on a swing stage.

Isaac used inspiration from Corktown, home of the original Tiger Stadium, and focused on creating little easter eggs to mimic the "aesthetic and the architecture of the original Tiger Stadium ticket booth."

What they're saying: "The opportunity for all artists throughout the city to have something like this available to showcase their skill on such a grand scale is definitely huge," Isaac says.

What's next: The Godfrey is set to open in August, per the Detroit News, but Isaac is already at work on his next City Walls project on the east side.

Since 2017, the program has helped artists create more than 125 murals across the city.

On Monday, the city announced 15 new mural locations — and Isaac says he was selected to work on three of those projects later this year.

With less than two weeks before the NFL draft, the hype around the Lions is as high as ever.

Driving the news: Team president Rod Wood said at last month's NFL owners meetings that the team's season ticket renewal rate is over 96% — which he said is "maybe the highest ever."

Wood also said he's "expecting that we're going to have sellouts for every game this year."

💭 Everett's thought bubble: As a recent first-time season ticket holder, I can anecdotally confirm the hype is real. My group expected to buy tickets in the mezzanine level, but seats had been picked over by the time the queue got to the newest applicants.

Landing in the 300-level for cheap is all good, though — much better to have worse seats for a good team than good seats for a bad one.

What's next: The NFL Draft starts Thursday, April 27 at 8:00pm.

Mock draft predictions for who the Lions are taking with their two first-round picks range from running back Bijan Robinson or quarterback Anthony Richardson to a defensive lineman or cornerback.

But the food at See You Tomorrow really does make me … want to see them tomorrow.

Driving the news: The cozy New Center brunch spot is less than a year old, yet already feels familiar. 

One wall is adorned with a mural the restaurant says was painted by local artist Cameron Jenkins (aka Camflage), egg scrambles have names like "Q-Line" and the service was exceptional.

What I ate: The chicken wings, which came with potatoes and a divine honey buttered biscuit. The dry rub was a little salty, but the wings were huge and also weren't greasy or overly fried.

As I was admiring the chicken, my friend demolished a delightful-looking corned beef Reuben sandwich.

The NFL season just started but the Lions are likely going to be down at least five starters against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Driving the news: Detroit's Week 2 loss to the Seattle Seahawks was costly.

Defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson reportedly tore his pectoral muscle and is now on injured reserve. Defensive end James Houston is also on IR with an injured fibula.

On offense, the Lions will likely be missing tackle Taylor Decker, guard Halapoulivaati Vaitai and running back David Montgomery.

Why it matters: If star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is still nursing his toe injury, quarterback Jared Goff's top options on Sunday could be a collection of rookies and journeymen.

What's next: Head to Ford Field for the 1pm game or watch on Fox.
