Snacking through Eastern Market

👋 Annalise here. Mitsos is a much-needed addition to the weekday snack scene in weekend-heavy Eastern Market.

The vibe: The small, simply decorated Greek joint with counter seating opened last year.

  • It offers delicious and quick options like spanakopita, seasoned fries, Greek salad and traditional Greek doughnuts — plus specialty coffee.

Dig in: I got well-made, baked-to-impress spanakopita and fluffy loukoumades (doughnuts) with honey sauce for $13 total.

If you go: 2614 Riopelle St., unit 4. Hours are 6:30am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday and 11am-4pm Sunday.
