Tacos to try at Dos Santos in Denver's City Park West neighborhood

At Dos Santos in City Park West, the tacos are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

What to order: The crimini boomers

  • Cost: $10 for two ($8 on Taco Tuesdays)
  • What makes them special: Two words — griddled cotija. The saltiness of the crackly cheese paired with the earthiness of the criminis make for a magical combination.

Of note: The O.M.F.G. taco ($6) lives up to its name. The light, crunchy dish offers a fresh and tasty twist on a typical taco, with bibb lettuce "tortillas," ahi tuna, spicy aioli, avocado, cabbage, pickled onions and sesame seeds.

  • Dos Santos' margaritas are bomb too.
