At Dos Santos in City Park West, the tacos are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
What to order: The crimini boomers
- Cost: $10 for two ($8 on Taco Tuesdays)
- What makes them special: Two words — griddled cotija. The saltiness of the crackly cheese paired with the earthiness of the criminis make for a magical combination.
Of note: The O.M.F.G. taco ($6) lives up to its name. The light, crunchy dish offers a fresh and tasty twist on a typical taco, with bibb lettuce "tortillas," ahi tuna, spicy aioli, avocado, cabbage, pickled onions and sesame seeds.
- Dos Santos' margaritas are bomb too.
