🏈 Buffaloes vs. Bears: The University of Colorado Buffaloes will face the University of Northern Colorado Bears at 7pm Friday to kick off the 2021 college football season. Tickets start at $40.

🎨 Cherry Creek Arts Festival: The three-day event starts Saturday and attracts over 200 artists along with more than a dozen performers and food vendors. Free, timed-entry tickets are required.

🍺 Boulder Creek Hometown Festival: From a beer garden and food court to live music, motorcycle shows and zucchini races, it’s no wonder this weekend-long celebration is one of Boulder’s most popular events.

🎆 Elitch Gardens Firework Show: The amusement park is honoring the holiday weekend with a flashy show that gets going at 9pm Sunday. The display is free with park admission.

👟 Broncos Fit 7K run/walk: The ninth-annual race returns to Empower Field on Sunday to celebrate the start of the 2021 NFL season. Registration is $50, and proceeds benefit the National Sports Center for the Disabled.
