The reality competition "The Amazing Race" is airing its 36th season, and three of the contestants are Lewisville ISD alums.

The intrigue: Twins Anthony and Bailey Smith say they "instantly hit it off" with Karishma Cordero after learning about their shared roots.

  • The Smiths graduated from Flower Mound High School in 2016 and live in Florida.
  • Cordero graduated from Hebron High School in 2019 and the University of Texas at Austin last year. She is teamed up with her cousin on the show.

State of play: The CBS show features 13 duos that compete in challenges in unfamiliar cities for a chance to win $1 million.

  • The new season is three episodes in, and we won't spoil them for you. The next episode airs tomorrow.

The latest: "We all have a great friendship now and still keep in touch, it must be a LISD thing," Bailey Smith said in a post on the Lewisville ISD Facebook page.
