The next phase of the Browns' offseason is upon us.

Driving the news: Mandatory minicamp kicks off today and runs through Thursday at the team's practice facility in Berea.

The intrigue: Minicamp offers a look at top players like Myles Garrett and Amari Cooper, as well as new acquisitions like linebacker Jordan Hicks and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

  • We will also see how quarterback Deshaun Watson is progressing following season-ending shoulder surgery last year.

Threat level: Watson gave fans a scare over the weekend after being involved in a collision during tight end David Njoku's celebrity softball game.

Between the lines: New offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey will practice with the entire offense for the first time this week.

  • It's yet to be seen whether head coach Kevin Stefanski — who just signed a contract extension — will hand over play-calling to Dorsey.

What's next: Mandatory minicamp marks the end of the Browns' offseason program.

  • Training camp is expected to begin the final week of July.
