Chicago's iconic 'Home Alone' home is on the market again, this time for $5.25M.

The big picture: Despite its differences from the original 1990 film, the renovated home still excites buyers and fans.

Zoom out: Potential buyers should anticipate nostalgic charm and frequent visitors, as the house is considered a tourist attraction.

Zoom in: The single-family home in Winnetka, a north suburban neighborhood in Chicago, was built in 1921 and has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and a three-car garage.

What they're saying: "This home is a legend in so many ways, often referred to as a character in the film, and it still lives up to its hype," Dawn McKenna, founder of the Dawn McKenna Group, said in a press release.

Coldwell Banker Realty is marketing the home at 671 Lincoln Avenue. The full listing can be viewed here.

Behind the scenes: I tried to inquire about a tour on Zillow and through Coldwell Banker Realty, but unfortunately, they are not granting any media tours. Only pre-qualified clients can see the home by appointment.
